Laddermill – A Novel Concept to Exploit the Energy in the Airspace

Why is the Laddermill not invented earlier? Related inventions have been done, however all requiring some support and guidance of wings. Due to the presently available sufficiently light and strong materials and the capabilities of small electronics for position determinations and aerodynamic control the principle of the Laddermills became feasible. The invention it self (1995) is based on personal experience of high flying kites, glider towing with up to 3000m cable and small aeroplane piloting. The motivation of the invention comes from a personal space flight experience and the natural drive for sustainable developments and protection of the Earth.
